Nail Technology
Polish your individual Style and Enhance your Future!
The Art of Natural Nails:
STOP- Look down right now at your own nails, could you use the assistance of a nail professional right now?
Your personal image is defined in the details, and a growing number of women are heading to their nail artist for much needed attention.
The health of the nail will determine the beauty of the nail, our program is designed to give you the knowledge to get your clients what they want. Client care and creativity are the only enhancements in this portion of the program. You will explore the many tools and products available to create the most elaborate nail artistry your clients can imagine.
And we can’t forget the incredible massage techniques that will make your clients putty in your hands, but if it is the allure of the financial success you can achieve by providing an awesome pedicure…reflexology techniques are taught as well.
Nail Enhancements:
Now this is truly a skill that requires technical ability as well as artistic flair. It’s not only the stars that get nail enhancements any more…the demand for qualified nail technicians has never been higher. Special occasions, proms, weddings, high school reunions are still top reasons to pamper yourself, but main stream society has embraced the idea that your total look is not complete until your fingers and toes have been tended to. This portion of the program focuses the proper use of manual files and electric drills- the chemistry and application of acrylic & gel nails as well as the proper use of silk / linen wraps.
Salon business and marketing are key components to our curriculum. We provide our students Salon Success Training, and journals to track and monitor their growth while in attendance, as well as for them to use to build their business upon graduation.
The industry of Nail Technology is an opportunity for your creative side to let loose. A licensed Nail technician has multiple options in this industry. Employee, owner, educator, full time, part time, you can own your own business! Your knowledge and skills will allow you to customize a career that fits you and your family. In as little as 10 weeks you can unchain yourself from that desk job and start your new direction in a career that allows you to fill that creative need as well as allows you to meet and work with people.
