Our cosmetology program features cutting, styling, design, hair coloring, comprehensive skin care techniques, make up, nail technology, texture services, business and training with “real world” experience. 

You will learn not just 4, 5 or 9 hair sculptures techniques, you will learn the “what behind the why” to create hundreds of combination cuts and styles for your clients.

You will experience early integration into the professional salon industry.  This includes manufacturer trade shows, industry speakers, career fairs, salon tours and exposure to the best in the business.

You will learn the art of hairdressing in a four-phase program we call Discovery, Experience, Create and Imagine.

Discovery – In this core training course, you’ll learn the basics that will let you confidently begin working on guests.  Your licensed educators will lead you in a unique experience through the hairdressing industry.

Experience & Create – You will build on your skills you discovered in your first Phase of training.  This intermediate level allows you to build your skills in the student salon area, creating fabulous looks for your clients.

Imagine - This final Phase takes you through advanced hairdressing and chemical work.  During your last months toward graduation you will learn how to interview and position yourself with potential employers, how to continue to build a successful career.  This includes goal-setting, product knowledge, retail, financial planning and client interaction.

The Pivot Point Member School Program encompasses an all-inclusive cosmetology curriculum, delivered through a systematic, step-by step, hands on approach utilizing the most contemporary and innovative delivery methods available. The program includes: An educational library including 6 subject modules; The Designer's Approach to Sculpture, Hair Design, Color, Texture, Salon Success, Cosmetology Fundamentals Textbook, Study Guide and State Board Exam Prep. Originally released June 2009, the 9 book pack is $480.00 and is part of your Cosmetology Student Kit.

Salon Fundamentals’ student-friendly strategies, combines with groundbreaking learning tools, are designed to help students direct their thinking, improve memory, retain what they learn and manage information.
